Christian Health Association of Kenya is a national faith based organization dedicated to promoting access to quality health care through health service delivery, health systems strengthening, community systems support and partnerships.CHAK is seeking suitable candidates for various positions based in Nairobi to work in a USAID funded project within Nairobi County on integrated HIV/TB, Maternal & Child health and Nutrition.
RMNCH / FP Project Officers
Reporting lines: The incumbent shall report to the clinical services specialist based at Afya Jijini offices in Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
The holder of the position will be responsible for the overall implementation of the RMNCH/FP, and e MTCT activities of the AFYA Jijini project in Nairobi.
The incumbent will be required to:
Offer technical support to the health facilities and the HCWs at the prescribed sites
Undertake work planning and budgeting for all project areas
Oversee the implementation of activities in RMNCH/FP and E MTCT working closely with the clinical service delivery specialists
Working with M&E officers support the M&E support systems to ensure data and information flow is efficient and informs programmatic and service delivery decision making and also ensure that programme reports are timely and accurate.
Strengthen the integrative approach to e‐MTCT RMNCH/FP services and activities in all the CHAK supported sub counties supported by the project.Qualifications
The Incumbent shall:
Be a trained nurse (Diploma or above), Clinical Officer (Diploma or above)
Have qualification in RMNCH/FP, eMTCT
Have minimum three years hands on experience in mentorship facilitation and supportive supervision of staff and services at level II, III and IV hospitals
Be fully acquainted with MOH data collection and reporting toolsExperience
At least five years of technical and programmatic experience in RMNCH/FP in a large project
Hands on experience in RMNCH/FP
Hands on experience in mentorship, on‐the‐job‐training (OJT) and supportive supervision
Fully acquainted with MOH data collection and reporting tools
Demonstrable experience in clinical data analysis for feedback and for improvement of services
Proficiency in word, excel, PPP, graphics, and other basic operating systems.Personal attributes

Eye for detail,
Can work in challenging circumstances including slum areas, and for long hours.Relationships
